It's official -Â all that promotion paid off! Summit Entertainment just released the news that New Moon had the biggest midnight opening of all time last night raking in an estimated $26.27 million! It beat out Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as well as The Dark Knight. Congratulations to Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the cast -Â well deserved partying indeed.
